Dry ice blasting uses compressed air and frozen carbon dioxide particles to remove grease, dirt and buildup from suitable surfaces, including undercarriages and engine bays. Auto detailing focuses on cleaning and refining a vehicle’s appearance, including its paint and interior. The services complement each other, with the right approach depending on your vehicle’s condition and goals.
Dry ice blasting can clean suitable undercarriage surfaces, engine bays, wheel wells, suspension and drivetrain components. Laser cleaning can treat rust on suitable metal parts, including brackets and chassis sections. The cleaning scope depends on each part’s condition, material and accessibility.
It can be a good option for removing buildup while preserving suitable original surfaces. However, loose paint, fragile coatings and deteriorated materials may lift during cleaning. We assess the condition of the vehicle and discuss which finishes and details you want to preserve.
Laser cleaning can remove corrosion while limiting its effect on the metal, but unsuitable equipment or settings can damage the surface. Thin panels and delicate components need particular care.
